Determine how you will pay your tuition.
Federal financial aid – Apply for federal financial aid, which includes federal and state grants, and work-study, by filling out the FAFSA.  This should be done as soon as possible in order to ensure enough time for processing.  Students may also fill out the on-line version for faster processing. Go to www.fafsa.ed.gov to have your results sent to HCTC.  Please enter 006962 for federal school code on the FAFSA. 

Payment Plan – KCTCS offers an interest free monthly payment plan; the            e l n e t BUSINESS SOLUTIONS.   Please contact  Mary Pennington 606-487-3322 or Irene Baker 606-487-3501  in the Business Office for more information. 

Scholarships – Please contact the Scholarship Office, Carla Seals 606-487-3072 or Sandy Campbell 606-487-3070  for information on scholarships offered by Hazard Community & Technical College. 

Other – The College accepts most forms of payment such as cash, check, or credit card. For information on billing, please contact Mary Pennington 606- 487-3322 Hazard Business Office or Irene Baker 606-487-3501 Jackson  Business Office.  Tuition cost for the 2008-2009 academic year: $121 per credit hour.
